So my third and slowest half was yesterday.
The good:
I finished.
I ran the whole thing solo.
I didn't throw up.
I didn't pee myself.
I didn't black out.
I stayed hydrated.
I had people cheering for me at the end.
The bad:
I was slow. (3:13)
I really hurt at the end.
I walked too much
The medal was ugly
Nobody from the family was there when I crossed.
In the end I did it. Doing research on how to get faster and it all comes down to interval training. So I am going to have to step that up. It will be painful in the beginning but in the end it will pay off if I stick to it.
Here is to the next one. May I be stronger and faster next time around.

Good Run
Ran five miles today. Did amazing. Felt like I could do anything once I was done. Should have drank more water and maybe pushed harder. But I did it and I can do more I am sure. New mantra is: DRINK WATER DRINK WATER.

Two months
I am doing another half. Between a bad winter and working more the training isn't going as well as it should have or could have. But I have two months. I need to get serious now or I will get hurt or very sick.
This is going to be the first half I am going to do by myself. I am kind of nervous and excited about that. Sometimes it helps to have somebody else to push me. But I need to learn to do it myself. I know I can I have been doing it in my training runs.
My goal is to get under 2:30. Not sure I will but that is the plan. I know I can if I work hard.
I am feeling blessed that I am healthy enough and strong enough to train.
